A visit to Chile’s Colchagua Valley
This weekend we are going here
to do this
and I can’t wait!
We will be wine tasting in the Colchagua Valley – these pictures are from my previous trip to Santa Cruz in 2005 (thank god my photography has improved). I enjoyed visiting as a 19 year old who knew nothing about wine, so going as a 26 year old who actually likes a good wine should be even better. We had a fun weekend wine tasting at William Cole back in March, but I think this weekend might top that one. Salud!

Have fun and get gloriously drunk for me! Salud!!!
I definitely had fun, and although I’m not sure about gloriously drunk, I did maintain a pretty steady buzz for two days straight. So much vino!
I’m expecting a full report when you get back.
Of course! What kind of blogger would I be otherwise?
So jealous!! We really wanted to visit there but didn’t get the chance…enjoy =) I love Chilean wine
I think you might still be stuck in South America if you’d gone – there are SO many wineries, and they’re all so different. We could happily have spent more than two days.
FUN!! My favorite kind of trips!!
Haha, would that be weekend getaways, family trips or trips planned around food and drink? Because if it’s the latter, then we need to make joint travel plans because that is really the only kind of trip I do.
The aftermath of the winetasting is the fun part; it’s the day after that isn’t =)
Have a blast!
