Guest post: Planning package holidays to Florida
Florida has long been high on the list of dream holiday locations for thousands of families living around the UK. For families with young children and a sense of adventure there aren’t many places more ideally equipped to offer holiday experiences of a lifetime. Deciding you’d love to visit the Sunshine State is easy enough but sometimes the tricky part can be finding and booking one of the best package holidays Florida has to offer.
Among the key decision that you’ll want to make early on in your search for the right package deal to Florida or anywhere else in the US is whether or not to go all inclusive. There are of course arguments to be made either way but booking an all inclusive package can help you plan the financial aspects of your trip more precisely in advance. But if self-catering helps you feel more comfortable then there are plenty of high quality yet low-cost apartments for families of any size and composition to choose from in Florida.
Depending on who you have in your party as you set off to the Sunshine State, you’ll want to make sure that your hotel or apartment is within striking distance of at least a few beaches, some of the best theme parks or golf courses. The quality of the facilities you’ll find in Florida tend to be absolutely top notch, whether that means pristine fairways or attractions for children that simply cannot be surpassed anywhere else in the world. You’re guaranteed to be met with a thoroughly friendly welcome and to head home with some quite wonderful holiday memories.
You can fly out to the US very easily these days as well from a string of regional airports around the UK but if you’re looking for an equally sun-soaked getaway a little closer to home then there are some excellent Lanzarote holiday deals available online right now.

Florida is a giant strip mall with beaches. No thanks!
I’ve never actually been to Florida except for a couple layovers in Miami airport. A couple friends love Miami though, so I guess I’ll eventually have to see for myself who’s right!
I’m heading to Florida next week. Any tips of which memorable places to visit if I don’t want to get a holiday package?
I haven’t been! Sorry, no tips from me.
